Infrastructure That Won't Scare Your Runway
Credits go straight to your Fly.io organization and apply to your usage. Here's what you get:
- A shared Slack channel with the Fly.io team, so questions reach the people who build the platform
- Machines billed by the second, that stop when idle and start on the next request
- Hardware-isolated microVMs that run anything you can put in a Docker image
- Managed Postgres, volumes, and private networking between your apps
- A platform you won't have to migrate off when you grow
How It Works
- 1 Fill out the application below. It takes about two minutes.
- 2 A human reads it, and you'll hear back by email within a week.
- 3 Credits land in your Fly.io organization. No org yet? Sign up and tell us its name. We'll invite you to a shared Slack channel, too.
Apply for Credits
Tell us who you are and what you're building. The more we know, the faster we can say yes.
We'll only use this to review your application and follow up about the program. See our privacy policy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who's eligible for Fly.io startup credits? +
Startups at the Seed or Series A stage that are backed by a venture firm or an accelerator, and haven't received Fly.io startup credits before. We may ask you to verify your funding with a quick email intro to your investor or accelerator.
What can I spend the credits on? +
Usage. Credits are added to your Fly.io organization and apply to usage across Machines, Sprites, Managed Postgres, volumes, and bandwidth. They don't cover support plans, compliance packages, or Machine reservations, which are billed separately.
Do the credits expire? +
Yes, one year after they're added to your organization.
How long does review take? +
A week at most. A human reads every application, and you'll hear back by email.
Do I need a Fly.io account to apply? +
No, but we add credits to a Fly.io organization, so you'll need one before they land. If you already have an org, put its name in the form.
What's the shared Slack channel? +
A Slack channel shared between your team and ours. Ask questions there and they go straight to the people who build and run Fly.io.
What happens when my credits run out? +
Nothing dramatic. Your apps keep running and you pay standard Fly.io pricing, billed by the second for what you use.
